First Baptist Church, Bristol - Ministries

First Baptist, Bristol is literally on the state line between Tennessee and Virginia, with our sanctuary being in Virginia by about thirty feet! Founded in 1859, our congregation has grown with the city, and we serve, not just Bristol, but the entire northeast area of the Tri-Cities region. The Tri-Cities metropolitan area includes Bristol, Virginia and Bristol, Kingsport, and Johnson City, Tennessee, with a regional population of nearly half a million people.

As a downtown congregation, were excited to be a part of the revitalization of State Street, not only in terms of physical renovations, but more importantly, in terms of spiritual renewal. We're growing into a new chapter of our congregation's life. We offer modern worship in addition to our traditional worship service on Sunday mornings, and we continue to offer Bible study groups on Sunday mornings as well as at other times of the week.

Are you searching for a life that matters, and for relationships that last? We invite you to discover what your heart is searching for . . . with us!
